Spatial Inequality in China’s Housing Market and the Driving Mechanism

Housing inequality is a widespread phenomenon around the world, and it varies widely across countries regions. The housing market naturally spatial in its attributes, with transformation of China’s urbanization, industrialization, globalization, increasingly severe. According to geospatial differences supply, demand, price, by integrating influencing factors economic, social, innovation, facility environment, structural adjustment, this paper constructs “spatial–supply–demand–price” integrated research framework based on methods CV, GI, Geodetector, empirically studies provincial markets China. findings show that significant becomes serious. study, we have confirmed following. (1) Different vary greatly influence, they can be classified into three types, is, “Key factors”, “Important “Auxiliary factors”. (2) inequalities price their driving mechanisms, but such as added value tertiary industry, number patents granted, revenue affect all these at same time comprehensive influence development evolution market. (3) All are bifactor-enhanced or non-linearly enhanced relationships between every pair, categories high, medium, low according mean interacting forces; particular, GDP, expenditure, permanent resident population, medical beds, full-time equivalent R&D personnel stronger interaction other factors. (4) Based coordination, 31 provinces four types policy zones, mechanisms further applied put forward suggestions design, which provides useful references for China deal inequality.
